Welcome to Sculptureum — a world of art, food and wine. Located a few minutes' drive from Matakana, it has three sculpture-filled gardens, six galleries, a vineyard, an events space and Rothko, our restaurant and bar.

The Sculptureum Experience

Owners Anthony and Sandra Grant have spent ten years creating a destination that is designed to unlock the imagination, fuel creativity and ignite the mind. They have spent many more years collecting the displayed works, which have been brought together for an art experience that is internationally unique.

Rothko Restaurant

Our restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30am - 3pm, Thursday through Monday. Chef Jarrod McGregor's menu embraces local, seasonal flavours which pair perfectly with our award-winning Sculptureum wines. You can dine at Rothko without visiting the gardens & galleries on the site, but to maximise your experience we definitely recommend that you do both :) At Rothko, Mondays are the new Sundays! Join us at Rothko restaurant for a sumptuous Monday Lunch for TWO.... Slow cooked Lamb Shoulder, matched with a bottle of our Cezanne Syrah – $89
