Led by Rothko's Executive Chef, Josh Hazel and partnering with New Zealand’s own Kings Truffles, this dinner is a celebration of the current truffle season and local produce, where each dish in the five-course menu will feature elements of this delectable morsel often referred to as “the diamond of the kitchen” paired with fresh seasonal ingredients.
Kings Truffles brings spray-free, organic fresh black truffles (Tuber Melanosporum) to the table, harvested from natural North Canterbury soils, with an ideal climate to ensure a truffle full of aroma and taste. Kings Truffles was founded by Bill Lee in 2003 off the back of a passion that led him to research and train with some of the world's best in Europe.
